These photos was taken two years ago. This was my son's very first haircut and he totally freaked out of what's going on. He looked like the barber was about to kill him in these photos. Poor poor boy! Until now he still freaks out every time he gets a haircut. Actually he just had his haircut for this year last night and same reaction, the barber got so nervous because my son screamed and squealed as if the barber is going to end this poor boy's life lol!
Oh by the way here's my other entry,
My Little Funny Boy. Hope to see you there too!

Awww, bless his heart.
I've seen some hairdressers with special chairs in the shape of cars etc especially for little ones.
No idea if that actually helps though.
Oh poor boy, perti hadloka niya, basin mahadlok siya na ma hurot yaha hair..hehe nice one mamu.happy ww
I feel your pain, little one! I've been there myself, but that was a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.
Awwww.. who was it more traumatic for? Him or You? I hated cutting my baby's hair for the first time!
He is so cute!! I just realized you are right down the road from me (well sort of). We live in North Ogden! :)
Happy WW!
Hi U.M. and Happy WW! Happy Valentine's Day also!
Now for some unsolicited advice (from a father of five kids, I couldn't put up with this kind of behavior from mine):
He is old enough after two years of terror to make some choices so let him participate.
Why don't you offer to cut his hair? It isn't that hard, while you are learning on him he will be looking better and better as the both of you progress.
His other choice would to act like a BIG BOY and stop all this fussing but go to the barber.
Talk with him to see what it is he doesn't like. Some kids have been pinched or otherwise frightened by the barber.
If that or other ilk has happened, offer to take him to a new barber, but only if he won't fuss. If he fusses, it is Utah Mommy doing the cutting for years and years!
Hope this helps (and you didn't ask for help),
..
That is hilarious! I am sure my turn is coming...fortunatly, my little guy is next to bald...and what hair he does have is white blonde...
Aww, poor little guy. I've always wondered why haircuts are so scary to small children. Fear of the unknown perhaps?
Thanks for visiting.
Bobbie
He really isn't liking that haircut. When my son was little, he had beautiful blond hair that I loved running my fingers through. One morning, I got up and found out that my husband had cut it. He thought that my little boy needed a big boy hair cut. I was the one freaking out then.
my boys do that also. what is up with that?
That is hilarious. My son does the same thing. And those fancy car chairs and the like don't make a bit of difference. I have resorted to cutting his hair myself for the time being.
LOL!! I've seen that expression on my son's face during his 1st hair cut at the salon too!! We went close to 2hours there :P
Happy ♥ Day to you :)
Oh my, that looks like a very loud haircut. We're not sure who we feel more sorry for... the boy, the Mom or the barber!
Oh my...but he still looks cute! I want to hug him from the screen!
He is a cutie! This is why all 4 of mine all had long hair when they were little. I wouldn't get it cut until "what a cute little girl" comments became too much. Then I would cut it really short so it would be a long time before I cut it again.
ohhh nakau kawawa naman yang anak mo..lol I never bring my boys to the salon I do the cut my self. If I can cut my own hair I will do it too..hahaha naku naka save din ako ha 15 bucks pa naman yung kids haircut dito..lol
Haha..your boy is so cute.
it's kinda freaking out when you can hear the scissor clipping sound for the first time! :P
What a cute guy!
How adorable!!
I had medium to long hair as a child, and my mother trimmed it when necessary, so I don't remember ever being frightened by the haircut experience. My mother used to mess up my bangs big-time. By the time she finally let me go to a hairdresser, I was GRATEFUL!
I don't know why all little boys think that the hairdresser will kill them, lol ! It must be the same in the whole world. Girls are better for that !
awwwwwwww poor little guy, but a very cute little man.
Happy WW
Ahh. What a cutie.
Oh my, he looks terrified! My son would get scared of the clippers (the buzz noise), but calmed down after they switched to scissors. (Look how long your hair is!) my WW!
Happy WW and Happy <3's Day!
Awww.... poor guy.
Happy Valentine's Day.
Oh goodness, poor little guy! My daughter's two and we haven't done the first haircut yet!
Oh, poor little one!! I did my son's hair for years...

Looks like it was such an ordeal for your little tyke. I sure hope that he'll get over that fear the next time around. :-) Thanks for the visit Utah Mommy I really appreciate it. To answer your query, I lost my first child to miscarriage last July and this is my second shot on being a mom so I'm hoping that everything is well now. So sorry that it was only now that I was able to visit I'm swamped with work and feeling not too well lately that's why I wasn't able to join this week's WW. See u next WW! :-)-Joshua
