My Baby Doll Is Growing So Fast

Lately i am feeling like i want to have another baby, but it is impossible for me to get pregnant again because sad to say that i am already fixed. I don't really care though, i have had that experience, all i want now is to have a baby girl, with blue eyes that looks like a doll like this boy in the picture when he was just a newborn!

Hip-Hop Clothes

I am not done gathering things for me to put it in the box. Yes, i am planning to send a box to my mother. I have been buying some things for her to use and so as for my younger brothers. They requested some hip hop clothes, especially the youngest brother, for he likes to wear the new generation kind of clothing, which fits him perfectly since he is a new generation kid. He likes those loose shirts and pants that i often see young kids wearing. Also, i saw some shoes that are on sale right now and i can't just believe it myself how cheap they are for they marked the price down. I might get few pairs for them and for my niece and nephews too. I can just imagine the happy faces soon as they will be opening the big box.

What's My Secret?

I have been asked too many times about what's my secret of keeping my face acne free. Though i always go to bed late and wakes up early, i really don't get a lot of bumps in my face. Maybe one or two at the most but that's about it. It's probably because, it's not in our family that gets acne really, plus i love eating tomatoes, and i heard that tomatoes can make the skin more finer, silky and beautiful. My younger brother used to have pimples problems but it wasn't that much like other people. They get a lot that it makes them so depressed. Personalized Photo Gift

When i had my first child, i did some good things for him like taking him to a studio and let them have him take a picture of him and printed it to the plate. A simple thngs like that is really precious for me, at least i have a remembrance when my child was just few months old. But when i had my third child, i did not do it anymore, it's probably because i have my own dslr camera already. Which we were just talking about it with my hubby last night. What i will do for my little one is, i will have to find a good picture of him when he was just little and order some photo gifts online so i can personalized it so it won't be so unfair for my little one that he doesn't have a personalized photo that's being displayed in our china cabinet.

Pork Belly, Humba

Do you get to eat the food that you used to eat back home? I mean, i am talking about my fellow filipina that are now living abroad like me. Here where i am at, it's very seldom that we get to eat the food that we like especially those fresh ones. Mostly we get to buy the frozen raw fish, shrimps, squids and some other seafoods. Even the meat ones, we cannot just find the part of the meat that has fat in it to make it as we call it in Cebuano, HUMBA. Pork belly is perfect part of the meat to cook with this kind of recipe. My friend cooked Humba the other day and it sure was yummy, not to mention the barely cooked hot steamed rice with it. Plus the anchovies with spicy vinegar, ahhh that lunch was awesome!

Men's Black Diamond Ring

when hubby and i got married, he just bought a very plain and simple wedding ring for him. Mine was a little expensive but his is what i call so plain. It was just a typical round ring with nothing to it. It's a 10k gold, so simple. He said that he doesn't need a very fancy kind of ring because he takes it off all the time anyway for where he works doesn't allow any jewelries being worn by worker. But since we are almost ten years married, i am thinking that it would be nice to get him one of those men's Black Diamond rings i saw online for him to wear it as we celebrate our ten years of marriage. Hubby said he will buy me a new ring as my gift for our ten years anniversary. Although that is still couple of years to wait but, times flies so fast and before we know it, we will be celebrating our ten years anniversary as married couple.

Dog DNA Test

I never thought that a dog can actually have a dog dna test. I really thought it that having a dna test was just for human beings. Now that i found out, it is because a friend went to a clinic where they did the test for her dog. I had no idea about it then for the dogs back in my country is not treated as special like they are here in this country. I was surprised myself when i first got here that animals are treated here just like humans. Animals here are sure lucky, the owner takes care of them really well, just like children. In fact, they sometimes overspend money for the pets.

Compression Stockings

As expected, snow storm is here tonight again. It's gonna be cold again tomorrow for the snow is going to melt and becomes ice. I hate the winter now, i enjoy the snow but i definitely hate the cold weather. I pretty much hibernate myself during winter season, even when there are some times that i would like to go out and have fun with some of my friends. Which, speaking of fun, that just reminded me that we are going to see a concert of a popular band that is going to be held next week. I better wear something warm and use some of my compression stockings inside to keep my legs warm. That sure helps a lot from getting chilled outside whenever i am wearing something that is formal.

Digital Camera Is An Advantage

I am so glad that we have now digital slr cameras, unlike before we have those filmed cameras that we cannot easily delete the shots that we don't like or maybe it was mistakenly taken. Since now that it is digital, we can just easily delete those shots that we don't like. It's much easier and good. That's the advantage of having a digital camera nowadays compared to filmed cameras that once you take the picture, there is no way you can delete it for it is being developed in the film. I love how the technologies came up to digital things, much more convenient and more advantage especially to the professional photographers.

Photographer Wanna Be

Some people are already complimenting on how i take photos, although i honestly don't find myself good in photography still. I got a lot of things to learn still, more techniques and more and more.... All i can do for now is just basic things that an aspiring photographers can. Mainly the reason why i wanted to have a DSLR myself is to capture every moment of my family especially the moments being with my precious kids. I love taking pictures of them, i can't get enough, every moves they do, i always want to take pictures so i can have remembrance and will treasure it and i have something to show them when they are grown.

Also, i am practicing of the lighting. It sometimes can be frustrating that i get to see some good photographs taken by those professionals and i can't seem to do it myself. I am trying my best though. I often ended taking photos of myself in front of the mirror like this photo below to test the lighting effect. But like what i said, i still have a lot of things to learn in photography, and i am looking forward to it. Every time i touch my camera and do something with it, i learn something new and it makes me happy knowing that i can apply it and be a better photographer wanna be, lol!

Studying Like I'm Not A Freshman

I'm getting ready to start my second semester as a freshman in college and boy did I learn a thing or two last semester. I'm going to try and take those lessons, most of which apply to studying and doing homework, and apply them to myself this semester so that I can come out swinging with an improved GPA in May.

But I also took the time when I was home for break to look up some additional study tips so that I could start off the semester just right. While I was online looking up that stuff I ran across the website www.cleartvbundle.com/internet_tv_bundle_deals.html and after I read through it a little bit I changed over my internet service at my college apartment to it.

Some of the freshman study tips that I found online included making a friend in each class that you can contact if you're sick or want to study or just need to ask a question about an assignment. I didn't do that last semester and I think that really would have helped out when it comes to filling out study guides before exams. IÕm also going to put together study guides for myself this semester because I think that would help get me more organized and focused.

Old Beaten Couch

Really, i would love to replace our couch now because it is so embarrassing when someone comes to our house and sees our poor old beaten couch that was being murdered by my two active boys here. I was going to get a new one but hubby said that he is sure that the new couch i am going to get won't last long either. So we'll just probably have to wait for few years until the kids are grown enough not to jump around in the couch anymore. And i just can't wait until our couch will be replaced, it doesn't look good anymore and when the time comes that we'll buy a new one, i would also like to buy a chair slipcover for it so the chair will look more presentable and beautiful.

Long Winter Season

I am just sick and tired of this freezing cold weather we have here in Utah. Every winter i feel so depressed for i cannot go outside and have some fun with my family. That's why i always look forward for the spring to come because that time i get to enjoy the not so hot and not so cold temperature outside, which is just perfect! I also get to enjoy the view which the flowers and buds of the trees are starting to show up. That reminds me, my friend mentioned that they will having a Branson vacation this spring time. Oh, we should plan our own too! Since spring time is not that far anymore, according to hubby, it will warm up so soon and i am just excited when i heard that from him! I am just tired being stuck in the house for the long winter season!
