Do you get to eat the food that you used to eat back home? I mean, i am talking about my fellow filipina that are now living abroad like me. Here where i am at, it's very seldom that we get to eat the food that we like especially those fresh ones. Mostly we get to buy the frozen raw fish, shrimps, squids and some other seafoods. Even the meat ones, we cannot just find the part of the meat that has fat in it to make it as we call it in Cebuano, HUMBA. Pork belly is perfect part of the meat to cook with this kind of recipe. My friend cooked Humba the other day and it sure was yummy, not to mention the barely cooked hot steamed rice with it. Plus the anchovies with spicy vinegar, ahhh that lunch was awesome!
